Pole Fitness 

Our pole fitness classes are divided into levels to help you progress both your strength and your confidence as you progress.

Pole Levels

Intro to Pole

Description: An introductory level class to build your fundamental skills. We will include information about proper form, use of muscles, and lay some groundwork with basic pole moves that will be required for you to progress to our regular pole classes. If you have never taken a pole class before - this is the right level for you! We recommend taking 3-5 intro to pole classes before progressing to pole 1.

Prerequisites: No experience necessary

Attire: shorts or workout pants that you can pull to at least above your knees, and tank top or t-shirt

 

Pole 1 (Beginning Pole)

Description: Time to take those skills you learned in your intro class and start building your pole vocabulary! This class is designed to build your cardio and provide you a full body workout as you learn new spins, transitions, floor work and build your core strength to get you ready to move on to the next level.

Prerequisites: You must have taken 1-2 Intro to Pole classes or have previously taken classes, and must be able to do a toe-spin/dip, fireman spin and a reverse knee hook spin.

Attire: shorts and tank top or t-shirt

 

Pole 2 (Beginning/Intermediate)

Description: Get ready to start heading upside down! Building on the skills you have learned in the intro class and Pole 1, you will begin working on your basic inversions and intro to aerial moves, as well as begin working on your one-handed spins.

Prerequisites: A minimum of 6 weeks in Pole 1 or previous experience and you must be able to complete a basic climb, pull up crunch, pole sit, 2-handed spins, fan kick, forearm headstand cross ankle sit up

Attire: shorts and sports bra/tank top

 

Pole Skills (Level 2 and above)

Description: Want time to focus on working on specific elements? This is the class for you. Class will consist of a warm-up and a few group moves, and then dedicated time for you to work on your current nemesis moves, and get tips on improving your other skills.

Prerequisites: Must meet the prerequisites for Pole 2 - A minimum of 6 weeks in Pole 1 or previous experience and you must be able to complete a basic climb, pull up crunch, pole sit, 2-handed spins, fan kick, forearm headstand cross ankle sit up

Attire: shorts and sports bra/tank top

 

Pole 3 (Intermediate Pole)

Description: Start building your tricks and skills! This level is designed to expand your aerial moves and sequences with a wide variety of skills including advance inversions, holds and spins.

Prerequisites: A minimum of 3 months of Pole 2 (or instructor consent) or a minimum of one year of training at another facility. Must be comfortable with basic climb, side climb, dual sided proficiency with 1 handed spins, basic inversions, crucifix, inside/outside leg hangs, butterfly, cat pounces on pole, aerial inversions, superman

Attire: shorts and sports bra/tank top

 

Pole 4 (Advanced)

Description: This class is designed for advanced pole students, and requires instructor approval.

Prerequisites: Instructor approval and dual-sided proficiency with climbs (upside down, aerial climb variations, outside leg climbs), shoulder mount, drops, ayesha, handspring (grip variations), hip hold split, chopsticks, brass monkey

Attire: shorts and sports bra/tank top

 

Open Pole

Description: THIS IS NOT A CLASS, INSTRUCTOR IS NOT PRESENT FOR SPOTTING OR TEACHING. Come spend sometime in the studio working independently on your skills. This is not a class and you will not be learning any new moves. This is not recommended for beginners, and you should be comfortable with not needing a spot to attempt moves.

Body Conditioning

Tush and Tummy: This is an intensive 55-minute lower body workout focusing on carving out your abs and lifting up your booty. Utilizing the mats, your own body weight as resistance, and the stability of the pole, you are guaranteed to be sore as you lift, tone, and tighten your abs and glutes. No experience necessary.

INSANITY® group exercise classes are athletic, drill-based, interval workouts. The workouts are inspired by drills that athletes use to improve their sports performance and was the inspiration for the program. Insanity allows everyday fitness beginners to enthusiast enjoy the nature and athleticism of drills and training to achieve overall fitness and wellness benefits.

Aerial Classes

Intro to Aerial Hoop

Description: New to aerial hoop? This is the class for you! In this class you will learn mounts and exits from the hoop, strength and flexibility, and basic terminology. After these fundamentals you will be ready to progress to Aerial Hoop Level 1. We recommend you take this class 3-4 times or have instructor approval to move up to level 1.

Prerequisites: None

Attire: Form fitting clothing that covers the backs of your knees and torso.
